I am going to read ONE BOOK that takes place in EACH ONE of the countries in the world, and the book needs to be WRITEN BY A NATIVE of that country. I need your help giving me ideas of books, authors, ... that you have read or that you know about.

I recommend you "Un mundo para Julius" written by Alfredo Bryce Echenique. It represents the Peruvian aristocracy of the 1960s. This novel is told from a child´s point of view. It is a book that all diplomats read before coming to Peru.
